The room at Mara River Lodge was absolutely cozy and comfortable. I felt like I was staying in my own little sanctuary. The fully equipped private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries made me feel pampered. Plus, the seating area and balcony were perfect spots to relax and soak in the beautiful views. It felt like a home away from home.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the private entrance in the twin/double room. It felt a little separate from the main area, and I prefer being able to mingle with other guests.

Kudos to the management for arranging a fantastic game drive. Our guide was top-notch and found us four out of the big five, including adorable lion cubs. We highly recommend this luxurious and immaculate hotel to everyone!

This place is pure magic! The beds are unbelievably comfy and the bed linen is top-notch. The bathrooms are modern and more than adequate. The location is jaw-dropping, right on a bend of a beautiful river with a stunning concentration of hippos that you can watch at night under special lighting. The grounds are flawlessly maintained and spotless. But the best part? The staff! They go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable.

The staff remembered me from my first visit and even helped me return my forgotten earpods. It has everything I need - Free Wi-Fi, parking, airport shuttle, game room, spa. I'm coming back this weekend!

We explored a secluded area of the larger Mara Game Reserve along Mara River and got to witness hippos chilling in deep pools right by the reception. The game drives in the Main Reserve on our second night were thrilling, and on the third night, we had more game drives in Lemek. It was non-stop adventure and wildlife! Best trip ever!

The only thing we wished for was a livelier atmosphere for young party animals like us. It would have been awesome if the lodge had some fun activities or a party area where we could let loose and dance the night away.

Stayed at a lodge where I could relax in a garden, enjoy a continental or Full English breakfast, and have a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool. Oh, and the monkeys were quite entertaining too!
